Dr. Peter E. Lyu

Dr. Peter Lyu was born in Seoul, South Korea.  In 1999, he graduated from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with Honors.  Soon after graduating, he moved to Lexington, KY to start his 6-year residency training at the University of Kentucky, Chandler Medical Center. 

During residency he exhibited special interest in craniofacial surgery, craniofacial trauma, and oral reconstruction with bone regeneration and dental implants.  Upon completion in June, 2005 he relocated to the Bay Area, where he attended college at Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA.  While in residency, Dr. Lyu also completed the requirements for the College of Medicine at the University of Kentucky and received his medical degree in 2003.  He currently practices at the 450 Sutter Building in downtown San Francisco.

He loves being back in the bay area, and calls San Francisco his home.  He enjoys the interaction with future dentists at the University of Pacific, School of Dentistry as a part time Assistant Clinical Professor.  He also enjoys playing golf and traveling.
