Dr. Peter Lyu was born in Seoul, South Korea. In 1999, he graduated from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. After graduation, he started his 6-year residency training at the University of Kentucky, School of Dentistry and at the Chandler Medical Center. Upon completion of his residency training in 2005, he relocated to the Bay Area. He has been in practice at 450 Sutter for the last 21 years developing relationships among the local dentists in San Francisco and the Bay Area. He has exhibited special interest in the removal of complicated wisdom teeth and oral reconstruction with bone regeneration (ridge augmentation, sinus lift augmentation) and dental implants in residency and private practice.  His hobbies include golf and travel and spending time with his family.
